News & Calendar:
- Please make sure your reading log is up to date by Friday at the latest, since I record the final numbers each Monday morning when we are in the library. If you don’t have access to the www.RTSUtah.com website, remember that your parent can still initial and write the title of the book each day that you read for 20 minutes or more inside of your planner on the November calendar.
- This is the first week of Quarter 2. Report cards will come home: probably on Thursday in the Thursday envelope.
- It was fun to see so many of you at the Halloween parade and party last week! Thank you to the many people who donated supplies and treats to share, and a BIG thank you to the parents who came to help at our parties, especially our CPR helpers: Max’s dad & Destiny’s aunt.

This year we are studying the 3 types of rocks! We are getting ready to start a “pet rock” art project. Please bring a rock (or more than one in case others aren’t able to bring one) that can fit in the palm of your hand, about 3-4 inches in length. We will be decorating them with paint & glue. Please bring the rock before Friday, November 14th. Thank you!

Spelling HOMEWORK for this week:
Monday– “Copy 3x”= copy the words you missed on the pretest 3 times
Tuesday– “Triple Color Words”= write words in pencil, then trace over top using 3 different colors
Wednesday–“5 Sentences”= write 5 Sentences with at least 1 spelling word in each sentence
Thursday– “Snap-Clap”= spell the word out loud while clapping for the consonants, & snapping for the vowels
Friday– Test!
